“Shane has done wonders to help me with running which was very overwhelming to me as a beginner. He instilled confidence in my ability from the beginning. He was extremely patient and thorough in answering all of my questions about what to eat, how to hydrate, and which strength and mobility exercises I could do to help prevent injuries. He helped me choose a training plan that I was comfortable with and helped me make adjustments when I had some injuries and illness while always keeping a positive attitude. That really helped me overcome both physical and mental obstacles. I’m happy to say I just did my first half marathon in San Francisco. I’m working towards my goal of doing a full marathon and a 50k. I never would have thought that possible for myself. Shane truly gave me great structure, balance, and advice that helped me succeed.
